Getting Started
FleetTAB is a modern fleet management application built on the Wialon GPS tracking platform. It gives fleet managers and field supervisors a unified interface for monitoring vehicles in real time, reviewing trip history, tracking KPIs, and validating data completeness — all from a single, fast web application.
FleetTAB is a Wialon-connected application. You must have access to a Wialon account to use it. If you do not have one, contact your fleet administrator or visit wialon.com to get started.
Accessing FleetTAB
FleetTAB is available at the URL provided by your administrator. When you open FleetTAB, you will see the login screen. Enter your work email to receive a one-time verification code, then enter the code to sign in.
See App Login for details on the login process.
Connecting Your Wialon Account
After logging in for the first time, FleetTAB prompts you to connect your Wialon account. You have two options:
- Sign in with Wialon — authorize FleetTAB on Wialon's own sign-in page. Your Wialon password is never shared with FleetTAB. This is the simplest option.
- Enter a 72-character API token — paste a token you generate in Wialon.
This is a one-time setup — your connection is securely stored (the token is encrypted) and reused on future logins, so FleetTAB reconnects automatically.
You may also be asked to choose a Wialon resource for storing shared settings such as custom trip types.
See Connecting to Wialon for an overview and Wialon API Token for the token walkthrough.
First-Time Setup
Once your Wialon account is connected, there are a few optional preferences worth configuring before you begin.
Theme
FleetTAB defaults to a dark theme, which works well for both office monitors and mobile screens in variable lighting. If you prefer a light interface, switch to Light mode in Settings under Display Preferences. A System option is also available to follow your device's color scheme.
Measurement Units
Distance, speed, and volume values throughout the app can be displayed in metric or imperial units. Set your preference in Settings under Display Preferences. This affects all pages including Fleet Monitoring, Trips, and KPI tiles.
Overview of Pages
FleetTAB is organized into several sections, accessible from the sidebar navigation. You can hide the ones your team doesn't use from Settings → Visible Pages.
Dashboard
A customizable analytics dashboard. You add cards that show aggregated fleet metrics — mileage, idle time, speeding events, eco-driving scores, fuel, geofences, and more — for any date range. Cards are drag-and-drop arrangeable and can be exported to PDF.
Map
A live map of your fleet. See units at their current positions, clustered when close together, and click any unit for its speed, mileage, direction, and sensors.
Assets
A real-time table of your entire fleet (titled Status in the app). Each vehicle is a row with its live position, speed, sensor states, and identification details, with filtering, grouping, and a detail panel per unit.
Trips
A complete history of vehicle trips within a selected date range. Filter by unit, driver, or group; classify trips as business or personal; bulk-select for actions; and export.

Reports
Two reports: Events (a data-completeness matrix showing which units have data in each category) and Utilization (how well each vehicle is used against an expected schedule).
Maintenance
Keep vehicles serviced on schedule with recurring Intervals (service reminders by mileage, engine hours, or days) and a Services log of work performed.

Files
Download tachograph (Tacho) files for your drivers, filtered by date.
Settings
Manage your Wialon connection, display preferences, measurement units, visible pages, account, and billing.
